Season

Winter: Will Change November 15th. Winter has arrived in the pack lands now. The wolves are finding it harder to find prey, but at least the dangers of fire are completely gone. Look out for thin ice and sudden snow storms though.

Pack Lands
SwampPack
	SwampPack Camp The camp of the SwampPack wolves is located in the Highlands. The wolves have crafted most of it out of mud, creating short walls and use rocks to reinforce them. It is not the most sheltered, but the warm weather and difficult surroundings keep it from being invaded or too cold.	0	0
	Swamp The swampiest place in the SwampPack lands. It's also very dangerous, alligators sometimes hide in the murky waters and poisonous reptiles can be found just about everywhere. 	Highlands The highest spot in the territory. It's the best, and saftest, place to hunt. However, the large swamp trees that grow around it have tendrils and vine that make even this dry place feel a bit swampy.	0	0
	Quicksand A large area in the SwampPack lands is a mire of smooth, grayish brown mud with a layer of water on top. It's a dangerous place to be, the thick mud is easy to get stuck in, and hard to get out of.	0	0
	Rotted Roots This is where a giant tree once fell, most of the tree has been decomposed, but the giant mass of roots is still there. Many insects, snakes, and amphibians live in this mass of tangled roots.	0	0
ForestPack
	ForestPack Camp The camp of the forest wolves is in the center of a large patch of thorn bushes. The wolves created a tunnel through the thorns and brambles so the camp has only one exit. This makes it easy to gaurd from intruders.	0	0
	Lone River Named so because it flows from the mountains of the loner lands, this river is wide and fast flowing. It leads to the lake and is filled with salmon in the sping and summer, so bears can be found around it. Watch out.	0	0
	Forest Lake There is a mid sized lake in the ForestPack lands that is one of the best places to hunt. Also, if you know how, it's a good place to fish. ALso on hot days the wolves like ot come here to cool down and relax.	0	0
	The Pine Forest This section of the forest is mostly coniferous trees. There is little undergrouth, instead just a carpet of needles. It's not the best place to hunt do to the lack of cover, but it's good for playing and training.	1	6	on Sept 7, 2008, 12:22pm by Shiranui in [open] Hunting
	Earth Caves This cave system goes deep into the ground, creating a labrynth of caves that few can navigate. Enter at your own risk.	0	0
OceanPack
	OceanPack Camp A small path has been worn between the thick growing scrub trees from years of use. At the end is a mid-sized clearing with tall grass around the edge. This is where OceanPack has itt's camp, safely hidden from danger.	0	0
	Scrub Trees These trees are short and stunted, it's not the best place to find large prey. The trees grow close together and leave little space for large animals. A lot of foxes roam through the trees, hunting things like small rodents and birds.	0	0
	Vines There is a large area just behind the beach full of prickly vines. A lot of rabbits, mice, and birds live here, but to catch them is to risk getting a lot of sharp thorns in your paws. If you can get in thoguh, it's a good place for a game of hide and seek, that is, if you don't mind the thorns and tangle sof vines.	0	0
	The Coast This edge of the territory is around 15 miles of beach along the coast. OceanPack is the only pack in the lands with a beach. 	Moon Island This small island is near the beach. The water between the island and the beach is pretty shallow so sometimes the wolves will swim out to it to relax or play. Seagulls like to nest on this island, so the wolves sometimes hunt them.	0	0
SandPack
	SandPack Camp The camp of the SandPack wolves is located at the base of the Windy Cliff. The desert winds carved a cave out of the sand stone, creating an ideal shelter for the wolves. Now, the wind blows in a different direction, so the cave is sheltered from the scorching sun as well as the strong winds.	0	0
	Shining Desert This giant indent in the land was once a vast, salty lake. Now the water is long gone, leaving a filmy layer of salt that sparkles in the sun. 	The Oasis A small lush valley in the middle of SandPack's deserty lands. A small stream trickles down the valley and pools into a fairly substantial lake here, creating a lot of plant and animal life. 	Wind Cliff There is a high cliff that rises from a few of the dunes. It is made of a slightly pink sand stone that chips away easily. It's a beautiful place to come watch the sunset or to howl a sad song. 	Sand Dunes These are the huge hills of sand that make up a lot of SandPack territory. When ever a strong wind comes up it's a dangerous place to be, you could be burried.	0	0
GrassPack
	GrassPack Camp This is the camp for GrassPack. It is found in a small indent in the ground with high barriers of wild rose and other thorny plants. There is only one entrence.	0	0
	Ruins The ruins are a place of mystery, and sometimes fear, for the wolves. They are of human build, just a few stone walls, covered in moss with holes and no roof. Mice and rabbits live around them.	0	0
	The Waste For some reason unknown to the wolves the grass won't grow here. It's a barren, gray, rocky place that is very unfriendly. The hunting here isn't very good.	0	0
	Grazing Lands Many animals such as deer and elk come to this place in the GrassPack territory to graze. It's a good place to hunt, also smaller prey like rabbits roam here.	0	0
	Scorchlands Long ago there was a devastating fire here. Ever since then it is fairly common in the heat of summer for the dry grasses to catch fire. The soil is always black with ash. Lands of the North

	Tundra To the far north of all of the pack lands is the vast tundra. It is dry, getting little precipitation, but when it snows it's so cold that it doesn't melt all winter. Even in the summer the soft ground doesn't reach very far down.	0	0
Lands of the South
	Tropics Far to the south of all the territories, but closest to OceanPack are the tropics. Winter hardly exists and it's very warm and humid here.	0	0
	Fire Ridge Here lies a range of mountains, caused by the continental plate sliding over a hotspot, therefore these mountains are all extinct volcanoes, and there's one that's still alive. The mountians border SandPack.	0	0

Plot

The five packs of the lands have been at peace for many years. They have large territories and so few disputes, but lately that peace has been threatened. Strange happenings are going on and none of the packs no why. The sweet, putrid, smell of decay and death has been spreading over all the territories, and the wolves don't know what to do. There haven't been any more deaths than usual lately, so no body can explain this odor of destruction. As tensions rise between the packs, all of them aggitated and uneasy about the strange events, the true cause becomes more and more apparent. There have been sightings of strange wolves that vanish when come too close, howls that echoe in dark spaces where no wolves live, and many misfortunate events hint towards the real problem. Ghosts have inhibited the lands of the packs, but why?

The ghosts are causing havoc and seem to have death as their intention, except for one. The evil spirits seem to be lusting for revenge, all of them except for Rain, who is trying to calm the other spirits. Rain was an almost pure white wolf, and her soul was the same. She grows close to Falcon, a young ForestPack wolf when she meets him one night as he is pursued by angry spirits. Rain saves Falcon from almost certain death and the two join forces.

Falcon has friends in his pack as well as in the others, as the young wolves start to join forces despite the tension between their packs the ghostly attacks grow worse. Will the ten (two from each pack) wolves and Rain be able to figure out how to save the packs and get rid of the evil spirits before it is too late, or will doom come for the five packs?
